Ingredients:
- Colored cauliflower (chopped, florets )
- Center cut Maple Bacon (chopped) – or any protein of choice or none at all.
- Red Onions (chopped)
- Orange Bell pepper (chopped)
- Garlic Clove
- Vegetable bouillon
You’ll need:
- Chopping board
- Saute pan
- Garlic press
What I did:
In hot saute pan, I added chopped bacon and garlic using the garlic press. The bacon and garlic was cooked together on the stove-top/ cooker. After sufficiently browned, I added the chopped onion and pepper, tossed around with seasoning and added my cauliflower last. The whole combination was sauteed for a few more minutes on low heat.I used the bacon fat to saute but you may use oil or spritzer. The center cut bacon is lean and less fatty.
Great accompaniment to most dishes. I had made this for my sister years ago when she came visiting- she thoroughly enjoyed it. I discovered ever since I started serving cauliflower this way, it gets eaten up fast in my household.
HAPPY EXPERIMENTING!
