I have been indulging in homemade pizza the past couple of weeks trying my hand at it and ignoring the scale :).
The Dough (Bread flour, Yeast, Sugar, Olive Oil, Kosher Salt and Water), I used bread machine. You can either use the traditional hand or stand mixer method.
The Tomato Sauce ( Fresh tomatoes, Red Onions (diced), Garlic cloves (diced),Dried Oregano, Fresh basil, Sugar and Ground black pepper). This does not end up looking like the typical tomato paste on pizza dough but it is fresh and tailored to my taste with the proportions of ingredients used. I cooked in saute pan until it was reduced as best as possible.
You’ll need: Pizza Stone, Pizza Paddle , Rolling Pin and Rocking Pizza cutter or Regular Pizza cutter.
Bake @ 400 F until crust browns
